C1 AND D1 TRAINING

GET YOUR C1 AND D1 LICENCE WITH LEAP DRIVING SCHOOL

Here at Leap Driving School I also offer C1 and D1 Training.

What is a Category C1 (7.5 tonne) Licence?

Category C1 is a vehicle that weighs between 3500kg and 7500kg. This licence is popular for people who want to drive larger vehicles such as larger horseboxes, or are applying for a role in the NHS which requires Category C1 in order to drive emergency ambulance vehicles.

What is a Category D1 (Minibus) Licence?

Category D1 is a minibus. A minibus is a vehicle with up to 16 passenger seats plus the driver, with a trailer up to 750kg. This Category of licence is required by people who want to drive vehicles with more than 9 seats that your Category B (car) licence permits.

Cost of Training – C1/D1 Training: £40.50 p/h.

If you have previous experience driving larger vans, you can potentially pass your C1/D1 Test with 10 hours training. The DVSA test fee is £115 (weekday).

This means that for just over £500 you could get your 7.5 tonne or Minibus licence!

I do not believe in a “one price fits all” way of working. I think that you should only pay for the training you need, on a fixed hourly rate basis. Please contact me on 07864 191116 or send me an email to josh@passwithleap.co.uk to discuss your previous experience and arrange training.
